| On October 2, 2004, we held our workshop
at the brand new Mercy Building at Our Lady of Perpetual Help school.
Sr. Jessica started greeting people in attendance before the
meeting. Questions were asked and
answered and the whole workshop just naturally turned into a question & answer session.
So we threw out the schedule and went with where the Holy Spirit led
us. The end result was that the attendees got a much more
personalized workshop and a better understanding of Schoenstatt as a
whole. Six people made their Covenant of Love that
afternoon and Sr. Jessica did a wonderful job of presenting the meaning of
the Covenant, the six things Our Lady asks of us, and the six things we
give to Our Lady.
Refreshments were served. Despite wanting to
spend more time with the people in attendance, we had to hurriedly pack up
and head out to our next workshop in New Orleans East for the second
workshop of the day. Kathy
and John Strickland were a wonderful help in setting up, serving,
and packing not only in Kenner, but in N.O. East. Our sincerest
